In this second painting of the series an illusion of a folded poster was
created. It is a much more complicated version of the "Painted poster" ( see Day 21), because the pipe must follow the curves and folds of the paper, while it remains a flat canvass. Margritte's " Cici n'est pas une pipe" provided the perfect subject matter.

kenmerken:
- Het papier is gescheurd, het natgemaakte papier droogt
niet glad en het reliëf van de druk blijft zichtbaar.
- De inhoud van de ets moet lijken alsof dit uit een studie-
boek komt; met scherpe lijnen en arcering.
- Bovendien moet de ets genummerd en gesigneerd zijn.
